No Depression by Uncle Tupelo
I have been looking for this album since approximately 1997. It’s Jeff Tweedy’s band pre-Wilco, he doesn’t even sing in this album.
I finally found it a few months ago and the nostalgia that ensued took me back to the 1990’s when I stole my mom’s Wilco cassette tape. Alt-Country will always have a special place in my heart, and this band does too.
